The Ramones have probably surpassed the Beatles as the most imitated band on the planet. Mean Jeans began as a tribute to Ramones ripoff bands, but the Portland, Ore., outfit’s debut album, Are You Serious? (Dirtnap), sounds like these guys sneaked into Hollywood Forever Cemetery and smoked the ashes of Johnny and Dee Dee.
